Platex Metals Trading LLC (“Platex”) is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets—including business data, client information, trade data, and IT systems. We recognise that robust information security is essential to maintaining stakeholder trust and ensuring business continuity.

Our Commitment

Platex implements and maintains an information security management framework aligned with international standards and best practices to protect our information assets from internal and external threats, whether deliberate or accidental.

Key Principles

  • Confidentiality: Information is accessible only to those with authorised need. We implement access controls, classification protocols, and encryption to protect sensitive data.
  • Integrity: We safeguard the accuracy and completeness of information and processing methods through validation controls, audit trails, and change management processes.
  • Availability: We ensure authorised users have reliable and timely access to information systems through business continuity planning, disaster recovery procedures, and system redundancy.
  • Cyber Security: We deploy appropriate technical controls—including firewalls, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, and regular vulnerability assessments—to defend against cyber threats.
  • Access Management: Access to systems and data is granted on a need-to-know basis, subject to regular review. Multi-factor authentication and strong password policies are enforced.
  • Incident Management: Security incidents are reported, investigated, and resolved promptly. Lessons learned are incorporated into our security framework to prevent recurrence.

Governance

Information security is overseen by senior management with regular reporting to the Board. All employees and contractors are required to comply with our information security policies and receive regular training on security awareness and responsibilities.
